ULTRASOUND Original Artwork Loveless Collection

Acrylic on Canvas, ULTRASOUND technology I realized recently produces its own graphic patterns that mimic the pulses running through the network of the blood vessels it traces. Like patterns in the earth it translates mystical patterns from our own life forces.  This painting depicts a legend from the Eora Dreamtime tells of a female native wonga pigeon searching for her husband who has been lost while out hunting. A hawk attacks and wounds her, and she hides in a waratah bush. Her husband calls and as she struggles in the bush, her blood turns the white waratah blooms red. The wonga pigeon mates for life.
