CRYING TIGER in ochre hues on black canvas is an abstraction from my past.  I spent my formative years in the Californian desert regions near the American River near Lake Tahoe often camping out under vivid night skies. The spirits hidden in the stars always provided endless possibilities for subject matter for the imagination.
