AND THE FLAME TREES original is composed of acrylic and oils on two canvas pieces. This dynamic diptych invites the viewer to search for the creatures and faces that hide within the vibrant and ever-changing composition. The Illawarra Flame Tree, would set the streets ablaze every spring in Northern NSW and South East QLD. A nostalgic memory of early spring arriving in my hometown in the chill of the evening after the day long drive.
