Acrylic on Canvas, CHASING THE DRAGON is a piece from my first collection of lost creatures - 'Breaching Souls". Hidden in the stars in the vivid skies where I grew up near the Californian desert regions around Lake Tahoe, were the mystical creatures of my childhood. I was taught to trace the dots and find the souls in a Native American dreamtime akin to our Australian Indigenous narratives. CHASING THE DRAGON reflects how many cultures across the world, search for their own meaning and identity by reminiscing about their own dreamtime.
